Shoes Appear On New Release By The Flashcubes, On Big Stir Records!

A new cover version of Tomorrow Night by The Flashcubes has just been released on Big Stir Records and it features contributions from Shoes, in the form of backing vocals and additional harmonies, main vocals (2nd Verse) and lead guitar!  The Flashcubes put their new spin on the song and asked the guys from Shoes to make their contributions.

Tomorrow Night was originally recorded by Shoes in 1977 and appeared on the BOMP! 7" single, b/w Okay, that was released in 1978.  Shoes then re-recorded a new version of the song in England that appeared on the 1979 Present Tense album.  The original demo of the song, written by Jeff Murphy and Gary Klebe is available on the Double Exposure cd and also in the 2020 UK box set; "Elektrafied-The Elektra Years 1979-1982".

Shoes have been in the studio quite a bit recently recording bits and contributing to a number of side projects by other artists that should start seeing the light of day soon.  We'll keep you posted.
