SHOES to be featured in upcoming Power Pop book by Ken Sharp!

Celebrated music writer Ken Sharp is releasing a massively researched, 3-volume book series on Power Pop that will feature a section on SHOES in volume 2, due out in January of 2015!  With tons of band interviews and previously unreleased pics and documents, this series will provide insight into the workings of some of the music industry's most melodic rockers.  The term "Power Pop" was originally coined by Pete Townsend of the Who, to describe their music and it has since blossomed into an entire sub-genre of melodic, guitar-driven (mostly), rock music.  It's a broad category that includes the likes of The Beatles, Badfinger, Big Star, The Raspberries, The Kinks, ELO/The Move, The Byrds, Nirvana, The Foo Fighters, Fountains of Wayne, Cheap Trick, XTC, The Smithereens, The Rubinoos, etc, etc...and of course, SHOES!

Volume 1 is already sold out and orders are currently being taken for Volume 2.  Check out more info here; http://popgeek.highwire.com/product/book-play-on-power-pop-heroes-volume-1
